Q: Why are there no prices on the website?
A: The electrical requirements for each game are detailed on the “Equipment Schedule” portion of your “Rental Agreement” and in the description of each game on the website. Please feel free to contact our office and someone from our production staff will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
Q: When I receive a quote from Splash Rentals, are there any hidden charges or surprises I need to know about?
A: Absolutely not! That is one game we refuse to play! We would never cheat or trick a client into paying more than the amount quoted. All charges are clearly indicated on our quotes and our invoices without any nasty surprises, and that’s the bottom line.
A: Due to the unpredictable nature of equipment availability, a good rule of thumb is to reserve the games you want as far in advance as possible by providing us with a deposit equal to 50% of the rental price for each item. This will ensure that the games you want will be available for your event.
A: The purpose of a site inspection is to provide answers to any logistical questions and help to avoid potential problems in advance of the event date.
Items of particular importance are:
Location access: Does the facility have loading docks and freight elevators? Will the equipment fit in the elevators and through the doorways? Are there any special security procedures we need to be aware of?
If the event is outside, will the games be set up on grass, asphalt or dirt? How close can we get our truck to the set up area? Are we allowed to drive anchors into the ground?
If you have any questions or concerns involving the logistics of setting up the games, our production department will be happy to schedule a site inspection at a date and time that is convenient for you.
A: Our goal is to be completed with the set up and “show ready” at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event. You should allow us a minimum of 15 minutes per game, on average, to properly set up each item. If your event starts at 6:00pm and you have 8 games, we need access to the site no later than 3:30pm to ensure that everything will be ready to go by 5:30pm.
A: Our continued efforts to become your one stop source for interactive entertainment will sometimes require us to utilize other sources for certain games or products that our clients want for their events. You can rest assured that all of the products or services offered by I Play Amusements are guaranteed to meet the highest standards of excellence and quality.
A: Many of our games require extensive training and a certain level of expertise to set up, operate and breakdown properly. The safety of our clients and their guests is of the highest priority and therefore our company policy, in addition to our insurance regulations, prohibits clients from doing this.
A: There are two different factors we use to determine if a particular game requires an attendant. The first is safety. Any game that requires the participant(s) to climb, jump or crawl on the game in order to play the game as designed by the manufacturer requires an attendant. The second is playability. Many games, such as several of the Virtual Reality Simulators and all of the Carnival Games require an attendant to operate and/or provide instruction in order for the participant to experience and receive the true value of the game. Our attendants are trained to operate and supervise the games so that everyone plays the games safely and has a great time.
A: We look at each event individually in order to determine the most cost effective means of travel and/or delivery. The number of miles, current fuel costs, trucks, people, and pieces of equipment, freight, drayage, hotel and per diem costs can all have an impact on the final cost of getting the equipment and people to a particular location.
